In July 2016 we received our first year set of results from the new SATs for our pupils at the end of KS1 and KS2. You can see these on the Dept of Education website which details performance of each school and academy in England. You can access our information by clicking here. This document can help you to understand the recent changes to the way SATs are set and marked.

Highlights of our results at KS2 are as follows:

Percentage reaching expected standard in all of reading, writing and maths = 21% (national average = 53%)

Percentage reaching above expected standard in all of reading, writing and maths = 0% (national average = 5%)

Average scaled score in reading = 94 (national average = 103)

Average scaled score in maths = 97 (national average = 103)

Progress score in reading = -5 (national average = 0)

Progress score in writing = -1.3 (national average = 0)

Progress score in maths = -3.2 (national average = 0)

Parents are invited and encouraged to rate the academy on its performance and this can be done via the Ofsted Parentview page. Ofsted inspectors will take all ratings into account when undertaking their next full inspection.
